In this six and a half minute video clip, McLaren’s head of design Frank Stephenson explains how the company’s road cars are conceptualised and designed
Prior to joining McLaren in 2008, Stephenson was Design Director for Fiat Auto and led the design of the Fiat 500, Alfa Mito and Fiat Bravo. He was also Design Director at Ferrari and Maserati where he was responsible for the Ferrari 612, Ferrari 430, Maserati Quattroporte and Maserati MC12. Frank began his career at BMW where he designed the X5 and the Mini, eventually becoming Design Director for Mini.
