The newest AMG GT-R features a front-mid-engine mounted twin-turbo 4.0 litre V-8 engine rated at 430 kW/585 hp and mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Keeping all that power under control is active rear-wheel steering, nine-way adjustable traction control system and adjustable coil-over suspension with additional electronic control. New front fascia with active elements, large rear aerofoil and new rear fascia with double diffuser enhance aerodynamic efficiency and help ensure optimum grip. Lightweight forged wheels are shod with cup tyres as standard.

Designed specifically for racetrack use, The AMG GT R takes 3.6 seconds to go from zero to 100 km/h and has a top speed of 318 km/h.
