Watch as a 99-year-old, chain-driven “American La France Tourer Speedster” take a beating on this epic 13,695-kilometer, 35-day journey.
Driven by an Austrian team, the car is powered by a 14.5-litre engine. That’s right, 14,500cc. Good for 140 hp and a top speed of 150 km/h.
The rally, which started in Beijing and traversed 11 countries before ending in Paris, is recognized as the world’s toughest classic car race and took place from June 12 to July 17 2016.
The team were sponsored by Chopard and the driver, Ingo Strolz, and his co-pilot and mechanic Werner Gassner, wore a Mille Miglia GTS Chrono for the race.
